Bio:
Andreas Trobollowitsch is an Austrian composer, sound performer and artist.
Based on rotation, vibration and feedback systems he uses mainly modified everyday objects, prepared fans and string instruments. Over the last years he has been focusing primarily on conceptual compositions, self-developed musical instruments, sound and drawing installations. Interested in dichotomy of the intellectual and the physical he includes visual aspects, spatiality, movement, and the way that they relate to sound.

CONCEPT
This remix of ‘Angst haums’ (Scared They Are) by Voodoo Jürgens, suggested to me by a friend who’s part of his band,
blends the raw, unmistakable energy of Viennese dialect pop with a more experimental, unpredictable twist.
I kept the punch and charm of Voodoos’ catchy local vibe and layered in Elvin Brandhi’s hauntingly distant vocals,
creating a contrast that gives the track a new life. By reworking the original and weaving Brandhi’s voice in the
background as a ghostly presence, I wanted to merge the familiar with the unfamiliar—taking the track into a different direction.
