  • THE THREE SOUND OF REVOLUTION / RING SOUND / MIDDLE SOUND / INDEX SOUND

Broshuda
(Germany)

Bio:

Intentionally hyper personal / diaristic while dwelling on universal human sensations and sentiments such as memory, language, grief, collective consciousness, community & humanism. His ever evolving cross pollinating output and shapeshifting live shows apply a multitextured form of demanded deep listening & intense warped emotional pressure delivered via his vast stash of home & studio recordings reconfigured & collaged in a new way on each individual occasion. Ranging from distorted heavyweight ambient steppers to intricate, chamber-esque musique concrète meanderings to sizzling weightless eskibeat & computer music hybridisations.

Though kaleidoscopically varied, the work is held together by a playful sense of experimentation and a willingness to explore new directions of sound through an experimental approach and the use of freeform production techniques to expand and further his already broad sonic palette.

Pursuing a strong Fluxus inspired interdisciplinary ethos in his artistic output, the same attitude is applied to his audio works, resulting in detailed sketches which at the same time show and disguise their inner logic while transporting a diverse range of carefully distilled feelings and emotions.

As an avid Brodcaster, Broshuda has supplied one off audio-pieces, guestmix contributions and residencies for radio stations and institutions such as NTS, Cashmere Radio, Dublab, Rinse FM, Berlin Community Radio, Schauspielhaus Zürich, Noods Radio, Dummy Magazine, If Only & more, alongside doing soundtrack work & composition for radio play, documentaries & movies.

In September 2019 he inaugurated his bimestrial radio transmission, "Intrinsic Speculations" on Radio LYL, inviting and curating a wide range of guest contributions from around the world, which he continued doing for four years via the platform.

Over the last ten years he has performed and exhibited his works internationally in a variety of cultural and immersive club-centric settings including Haus der Kulturen der Welt (Berlin), Forest Limit (Tokyo), Spazio Rita (Nagoya), Stettin Philharmonic, Berghain ́s Säule, Poush (Paris), Rye Wax, Power Lunches, The Waiting Room & The Royal Academy of the arts (London), The Exchange (Bristol), Kraftwerk (Berlin), Macao, Standards Studio & C3 (Milan), NII (Moscow), Damás (Lisbon) and a multitude of other venues scattered across the globe.
